Just like San Francisco has the San Andreas fault causing earthquakes, the southern Great Plans has Tornado Alley. This area extends from northern Texas across Oklahoma into Kansas and is more susceptible to tornadoes than anywhere else in the world! It also experiences winds of more than 200 miles per hour and can cause extensive property damage, injuries, and even death (209). Stay safe and come to San Francisco instead!
